History of the company
Tradition of ORGANIKA dates back to 1903, when two friends established chemical workshop in Ciasna Street in Lodz. No one then thought that a hundred years later it would become the largest capital group in motor chemistry trade in Poland. The profile of production was subject to changes according to the needs of developing economy during years of business activity. At first the production was aimed at tanning and textile industry, then motor, construction and sugar industries and sewage treatment plants.
In the sixties the company started production for motor industry. At the beginning it included hydraulic fluids (DA-1) and brake fluids (among others R-3/205, which is still produced) which initiated dynamic development of motor chemistry in Poland. During the seventies, the company expanded its offer for passenger cars' owners and introduced windscreen washer liquids (ADIXOL) and car cosmetics. New ranges of car cosmetics were introduced during following years.
Products like DETERSIL, used to clean engines and UNIZOL, first versatile maintaining and lubricating agent in Poland were highly valued by drivers. In the early nineties ORGANIKA successfully introduced cooling fluids called GLIXOL. Currently the range of brake fluids is supplemented with the most modern DOT-5.1, which is recommended to cars equipped with electronic control systems i.e. ABS, ASR and ESP and the group of cooling fluids is supplemented with high quality GLYSANTIN, which is produced on BASF license. In the mid-nineties workers of the state-owned company Chemical Plant ORGANIKA founded a joint-stock company. As a result of following actions ORGANIKA-CAR Sp.z o.o. was formed in 1994. In 1998 it was transformed into joint-stock company. One year later ORGANIKA Capital Group was enlarged with one another company, Oil-Tech which was focused on oils and lubricants production and aimed at motorization. Thanks to this measure ORGANIKA is the only Polish company that has a fully complete offer. ORGANIKA entered the twenty first century with modern production lines designed for aerosols production, oils and fluids production and polythene packaging production. The production is in accordance to quality certificates ISO 9001:2000. Both companies are taking part in a world-wide programme "Responsible Care" and the production is done in a manner that is safe for workers, local community and natural environment.
ORGANIKA is still enlarging its offer and introducing new products. Company's highest quality products are manufactured from domestic and foreign materials imported from ICSO CHEMICAL PRODUCTION, ROKITA, BP, CONDEA, CLARIANT, BASF, SHELL, WITCO and are appreciated by such domestic and foreign concerns as SHELL, MOBIL, STATOIL Lubricants, Lotos, PKN Orlen, Texaco, Valeo as well as chain supermarket, among others: Biedronka, Geant, Tesco, Castorama, Carrefour which we are bound to on the basis of cooperation agreements. Among mentioned distribution chains we have a complex chain of authorized dealers and a strong group of field sales representatives.
